Mirage

Followers of Audio Images will know that about seven years ago we discovered a manufacturer called Mirage. They will also recall their first sub/sat system which we sold. This diminutive system had four speakers about the size of a bag of sugar, a centre speaker which was about 30% larger and a fairly ordinary looking subwoofer. This system was called the AVS500. It wasn't until we started to demonstrate this system to customers that you started to be as astonished as we were. They performed way way better than their size and price suggested. Within six months we had stopped selling Bose - they were too expensive and not good enough in comparison.

Now, as time has passed by things in the Mirage camp have moved on. Their latest offerings feature full Omnipolar sound. Omnipolar was a system more or less invented by Mirage and it uses diffusers to give a far more radiated sound than would be possible from a standard driver. Further more they sound the same almost no matter where you mount them. By the floor, on your table, by your Plasma, up by the ceiling or even on the ceiling. Rather strangely for a sub/sat system they even play back music very well. Most people don't believe we're not using larger speakers hidden away somewhere. This has lead to a Mirage revolution for us. Most people who would have shunned at the idea of having multiple speakers around the room really don't seem to mind having them up by the ceiling. The sound, in true Mirage style is still class leading.

There a number of designs to choose from, Nanosat, Nanosat Prestige (same size as Nanosat but with higher grade drivers and fantastic finishes), Omnisat Micro (on ceiling white finish) Omnisat V2 (looking like Nanosats that have been on a course of steroids - and sound it to) and then finally on to the really big stuff.

Mirage are for us and our customers what Home Cinema is all about, stunning sounds, great looks, class leading performance at an attainable price. If you've never heard a Mirage system then come and be blown away in just a five minute demonstration.
